Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy is a complementary modality that uses the tools of yoga to address chronic health conditions.

Personal therapeutic yoga practices are developed for you, with only your goals in mind.

Get the individual attention you need that you can’t get from a group yoga class.

Sara specializes in low back pain and autoimmune conditions, but works with a variety of conditions.

Private Yoga

Are you looking to deepen your practice but want personal attention? Not interested in teacher training?

Private yoga gives you individual guidance in your yoga practice.

Whether you are a complete beginner, an experienced practicioner looking for help preparing your body for a specific posture, or interested in discussing philosophy, consider private yoga for developing your practice.

Mentoring

Sara offers mentoring sessions for students who are looking for guidance in their personal practice and for yoga and meditation teachers-in-training.

If you are currently in training, a recent training graduate, or a current teacher, consider mentoring to help you develop and maintain your teaching practice.

Each mentoring session is a discussion guided by your questions and interests.

Testimonials

My pain has been greatly reduced over the year I’ve been working Sara. Of course, I do my part and perform all the stretches and exercises she has given me, and continue to do yoga classes with her. I consider Sara a true partner in my health and well-being.

Sara is a true listener and communicator. She explains what she thinks is causing the pain I feel, and has created an exercise routine for me based on my needs. She works with me to tailor the stretches and exercises based on whether or not I’m deriving benefit from them.

C.M.

Sara is a well thought out yoga therapist who not only took my body into account when helping me, she taught me how to hold space for the uncomfortable periods my body went through. It was very easy to have conversations with Sara around the process of my yoga practice as a whole experience physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

To connect, ground, and simply be with the body is what I took as her specialty. Sara is an incredible guide who equally listens and is helpful. I highly recommend her for yoga therapy.
